Modern Landfill, Inc. is located in the Town of Lewiston, NY. Currently, 239 acres of the 380-acres are permitted by the NYSDEC for the disposal of non-hazardous solid waste from residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial sources. Any material taken to the landfill will need to be regulated non-hazardous waste. Modern maintains right to deny any material that is considered hazardous or unacceptable within the landfills permits. Modern Landfill does not accept e-waste of any kind or mattresses. If these materials are found within a drop off additional fees may apply. City of Niagara Falls and Lewiston residents must obtain a permit from their municipal office prior to bringing their material to the landfill.
