The Humboldt Waste Management Authority is a local organization dedicated to reducing waste and diverting materials from landfills. HWMA owns and is responsible for the operation and maintenance activities associated with the Hawthorne Street Transfer Station, Household Hazardous Waste Facility and the Cummings Road Landfill. HWMA does NOT provide or oversee any curbside services, nor the rental of boxes or bins. If you need these services, please contact your local franchise hauler.
