The City of Redding Transfer Station serves as drop-off location for City of Redding Solid Waste customers. For rates and acceptable items for each location, please visit the Transfer Station website as pricing is subject to change. Key requirements to remember: - Every load must be tarped prior to entering - Every vehicle must check in at the scale house Acceptable items include but are not limited to: waste bags, vehicle tires, certain appliances, furniture, yard trimmings and treated wood. Items that are not accepted for disposal include: Dirt, Rocks, Concrete, Asphalt, Vehicle Bodies, Animal Carcasses, Tree Stumps with Dirt or Root Balls and Large Tree Stumps (Above 30" Diameter / 2 Tons).
